What Dr. Loucks Brings

Dr. Loucks is a highly experienced hip and knee specialist who started private practice in Denver in 2003. As a founding partner of Peak Orthopedics & Spine, he has built a leading practice focused on hip/knee arthroplasty — including complex reconstructions, revisions, cartilage repair, and sports-related cases.

In 2004, Dr. Loucks and Dr. Greenhow were the first surgeons in the Denver area to perform the minimally invasive, muscle-sparing Anterior Hip Replacement (AMIS), and since then he has performed thousands of hip replacements using that technique.

Since 2013, he has also pioneered outpatient total joint replacement, allowing many patients to go home the same day.

Dr. Loucks is a global educator — an international proctor, lecturer, and instructor for minimally invasive hip and knee replacement techniques, sharing knowledge across Europe, Australia, and North America.
